Configure

Every Salesforce Organization is different and therefore you need an application that can adapt to every situation. Duplicate Check can be configured to suit your personal needs and wishes allowing you to find duplicates exactly how you want it.

Scenarios - Create scenarios and define on which fields duplicates are detected and scored. Decide for yourself on what fields you want to put more weight in a scenario. The amount of available scenarios differs, you get 1 scenario in the Free version, 5 in Advanced and 10 in Premium.

Person Accounts - Duplicate Check has the ability to configure person accounts seperately from Accounts
Sharing Rules - Even though your users don't have access to your entire database, you still don't want them to create duplicates. With this feature they get an alert that they are creating a duplicate but the details are still not visible. Keep it clean and private.
Custom Fields - Decide in what fields Duplicate Check needs to search to find duplicates, including manually created fields.
Basic Merge Rules - Based on one simple rule to determine the master record.
Extensive Merge Rules - Not only can you determine the master record, you are also able to set an advanced rule for all fields.
Record Types - Duplicate Check allows you to define different configurations for every record type. This means you can use Search Scenarios for a specific record type to optimize your results.
Frequent words - Words that you use often can be seen as duplicates. Use our standard list or create a custom list of frequent words that should not be taken into account when checking for duplicate records.
DC Audit - If you need to see what happend to records in the past or if you need to know which users have merged or converted records, use the Audit Logging feature. This gives you the ability to track all actions performed by you and your users, as well as all actions performed automatically by Duplicate Check. This will keep you informed about everything that happend to your data.
